| Frequently Asked Questions | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 1. Can we come visit the puppies and meet the parents? Yes! You are more than welcome to come visit. However, visits are by appt. only. We do ask that you not visit another kennel before our appt. We also ask that you not have any contact with puppies or moms with any puppies under 4 weeks old. This is strictly a precaution to avoid any illnesses etc from entering our home or kennel and possibly infecting any of our dogs or puppies. 2. Are the puppies Vet checked & vaccinated? Yes, all puppies are Vet checked before they are shipped. They are current on vaccinations & have been dewormed every 2 weeks before they go to their new home. You will receive a vaccination record of all shots and dewormings. 3. Do you offer a health guarantee? All of our puppies come with a 1 year health guarantee. We would never knowingly sell a puppy with a health issue. We breed for health being the top priority. We do not wish for anyone to go through the loss or suffering of a beloved pet. A signed copy of the sales contract must be on file for the 1 year health guarantee. For more information on the health guarantee please see the contract page of this website. 4. Do you sell to pet shops or brokers? Absolutely not!!! We only sell our puppies to loving, responsible homes. 5. Do you provide Stud Service? No, we do not offer stud service. We do not wish to take the chance of introducing any illnesses or viruses into our kennel. 6. Are your puppies registered? All of our Boxers are registered with AKC. Therefore, all of our puppies are registered with AKC. 7. Do you offer full registration and can I breed my dog? All of our boxers come with full registration. So, yes you can breed your boxer if you desire too. However, there are no guarantees of breeding potential. 8. What do you feed your adults and puppies? We feed and recommend Diamond Puppy Food for our puppies and Iams Large Breed Adult for our adults. We have done a lot of research and have tried many different dog and puppy foods and have found (in our opinion) these two to be the best out there. For more information and the nearest distributor to you visit www.diamondpet.com and www.Iams.com 9. Do you show your dogs? We currently do not show any of our boxers. However, most of our boxers do have champion bloodlines. We constantly strive to produce quality, healthy boxers bred to compliment or exceed the breed standard. 10. Can you provide references and are you inspected? Yes, you are more than welcome to contact us requesting names of previous puppy buyers. We will provide you with there names and phone numbers. You may also see the Happy Puppy Owners page of this website. We are also inspected by AKC. 11. Can I contact you for advice and support after I get my puppy? Yes. You can always contact me for advice or support for years after you get your puppy. Many breeders may take your money and send you your puppy and you will never hear from them again. I will always return your email within 24 hours or less. 12. Why are your prices so high? We have spent a lot of time and money searching for the boxers with the best temperaments, conformation and healthy lines to be in our breeding program. By doing that we produce awesome temperaments, quality, health, and conformation that will either meet or exceed the breed standard. Do your research before you question ones prices. To a breeder you can't put a price tag on their puppies. If you could set that price as to what they are worth to them NO one could afford one. There is a price for quality!!! Purebred boxers are high these days, but there is a lot more to this than a cute face that is the result of the breeders hard work. The reputable breeders that care about the breed they are breeding are working very hard to provide quality dogs. They physically and mentally spend many long hard hours watching to be sure that all puppies as well as the moms are OK and assist them in any way that they can. This sometimes means bottle feeding these puppies every 2 hours and very little sleep for days or weeks. Breeders who only breed for pet quality puppies have their goals set way too low. We do not show our boxers, but we do strive to produce show quality to meet or exceed the breed standard. Health, temperament and quality is something that we all want in our canine best friends. So, when you start looking around comparing prices of a reputable breeder to the flea market and the newspapers. We can promise you it's not only the difference in price, but the quality of the dog you are getting. When you are looking for your next best friend you should get the best. So, PLEASE stop and think before you ask the breeder to go down on their price or why is your price higher than in the paper. This is an insult to them and the hard work and love that they have put into their great puppies. Many breeders are willing to work with you in some circumstances. Please don't insult them with your prices are too high and that you have seen them in the newspaper for a lot less. You won't get the quality, health guarantee or support for years to come in the paper. We work very hard to produce healthy puppies for you and your family. You pay for quality and that is something we do have. |
